This final post can never be called complete unless there's a video. Unfortunately I don't have one yet, but here's a picture of the fully finished zephyr, elevons attached, winglets on the side... In condition to fly, but I'm just going to solder the push rods a bit and do a final electronics / settings check before putting her in the air. Once I receive the batteries, I may probably have to shorten the leads on that one to make things fit. The trick there is to do one lead at a time :).

I've sneakily updated these pages a bit in the backend with the build log for a zephyr. It's coming along quite nicely. The current status can be seen in the projects section.

I've added two new projects to the left side. One shows the circular polarized cloverleafs that I built at work. The other one is a demonstration of how I modded my Futaba to be able to transmit UHF.
I've also acquired a new foam model, the Multiplex Xeno. It looks like it's going to be great fun to fly, but the loading area is very challenging for stowing more batteries in it. It looks like more interesting modifications will have to be made to get this to work properly. I'm not going to glass it or reinforce it, just fly it and learn stuff about flying wings. Maybe later I'll do another one or get a RiteWing to start doing it properly.
